Objective(s): Students will create through colored pencil and graphite still life drawings of images that form the letters to their name. This is a current art trend but students will understand how the basis to this trend comes from still life drawing. By doing this they will gain understanding of the purpose of appreciating still life drawings, composition, gain basic drawing skills, master value and shading with graphite and colored pencil, understand pattern, texture, color theory, and imagination. Students will also create, envision, and do research for this project.
